Monteloro Coffee was born as a family business and the life project that Juan Carlos and Laura, owners of the brand, wanted to undertake. They were always advised by Juan's father who has more than 40 years of experience in the coffee world. From the beginning they thought of creating a brand that would fulfill all the requirements of a specialty organic coffee. Today they are in the process of decontaminating their coffee plantations and want to obtain certification in order to be able to commercialize their coffee under this seal.
Among their objectives is also to educate the inhabitants of the village so that they can learn how to grow sustainable crops and give back to the land all that it has given them. Today their crop has good practices and quality standards and they dream that their delicious cup of coffee with sweet aromas and chocolate flavor will reach all Colombian homes.
Our highly selected coffee, quality blends, harvested by hand with traditional and artisanal production methods, is a special export type coffee.
100% Arabica Colombian Coffee. In the washing process an aerobic fermentation of 12 hours is carried out which highlights the notes of honey and panela and chocolate flavor, with a great sweetness and low acidity. Our coffee is sun-dried and manages agro-ecological processes using organic fertilizers and weed control without using chemicals.
